Twelve points.
Zero fakes.
Every sneaker on Hypestrike passes a 12-point hand inspection at our Lagos facility before it ships. No exceptions. No shortcuts.
What we check
We examine stitch count per inch and compare against manufacturer specs. Fakes often use looser, irregular stitching.
Leather, mesh, suede — each material has a distinct grain. We handle hundreds of pairs and know exactly what real feels like.
Every model has a documented weight range. We weigh each pair and flag anything outside the tolerance.
Date codes, factory stamps, size tags — each has specific placement and formatting that fakes get wrong.
Box construction, label fonts, barcode formatting, and included accessories are all cross-referenced against authentic samples.
Outsole pattern depth, midsole foam density, and glue application are inspected under light.
Every brand has precise logo placement specs. We measure and compare against verified authentic pairs.
Colors are compared against official colorway references. Fakes often have slight hue or saturation differences.
Lace holes, D-rings, and buckles are checked for material quality and finish consistency.
Insole printing, foam thickness, and lining stitching are inspected against brand standards.
The overall shape of the shoe is compared against the authentic last. Fakes often have subtle proportional differences.
Only after passing all 11 checks does a pair receive the HS verification stamp and get cleared to ship.
